TYLOR SCOTT JENKINS

Actor/Dancer/Singer/Educator based in Southern California

 Tylor Scott Jenkins (he/him/his) is an upcoming theatre educator based in Southern California with a lifelong passion for performance and teaching. A graduate of the Orange County School of the Arts, Tylor went on to earn an Acting Certificate from Fullerton College and a BFA in Theatre Arts with a Musical Theatre emphasis from California State University, Fullerton, where he is currently completing his teaching credential in Theatre Arts. He plans to pursue a Master’s in Education following the completion of his credential program.

With over 20 years of experience in musical theatre and seven years in the Entertainment Department at The Walt Disney Company, Tylor brings both professional and educational perspectives to his teaching. His work includes choreographing high school productions such as Mean Girls: High School Version for The School of Arts and Enterprise, and he is dedicated to helping students discover their voices as performers, storytellers, and collaborators.

Coming from a family of educators, Tylor has always felt called to teach. His goal as a high school theatre teacher is to inspire students to bring their unique life experiences into the theatre, fostering creativity, empathy, and collaboration in a positive, inclusive environment.
